Renton Stadium Rules of Use

1.  NO ONE is allowed inside the Stadium unless it has been opened by a Renton School District employee.  No exceptions.  IF the employee fails to show up and open the facility, DO NOT go over or under the fence or force open the gate.  Call the CSC Field Coordinator first or the CSC President if no answer and we will attempt to find another field.  There is not a weekend phone number for the Renton School District.

2.  NO ONE is allowed on the field unless they are a player or a coach.  This means that during a game, NO ONE is allowed on the other side of the field - no visitors are allowed to be in the opposite side bleachers.

3.  NO player is allowed onto the field unless a coach is on the field first.  This requirement is an absolute.  Insurance requirements dictate that a coach - NOT a parent - must be on the field at all times.

4.  Do not bring juices or other flavored drinks onto the field.  ONLY WATER is allowed on the track or the field.

5.  DO NOT hang in the soccer goal nets.  DO NOT put your any clothing in the nets.  Hanging or stuffing clothing or equipment in the net will tear the netting.  RSD just replaced these nets last year and we want them to last.

6.  Spectators are to remain in their seats.  The bleachers are not a playground for kids to be running up and down the steps or hanging from the cement walls.  There is a walking park outside the west end of the field if kids need to run.

7.  This is a Renton School District facility.  All school district rules remain in effect:

    No Alcohol
     No smoking
No guns or weapons or objects that could look appear to look like a real gun or weapon

8.  CSC is only renting the playing field for soccer.  The track equipment and other features on the field are off limits to everyone - players included.

9.  The representative for RSD has absolute control over the facility.  Do not argue or comment to this representative.  Please direct your questions or concerns to the CSC Field Coordinator.

10.  If you bring a pop-up canopy you may place it on the track.  There must be a pad or cloth between the canopy legs and the track surface.

Lindbergh High School Rules of Use

CSC is being allowed to use Lindbergh HS brand new turf field. While it doesn't look like it, the field is still considered a construction zone because the track is not completed.  As such, there are very special precautions that we must take in order to use the field.

Each Home team needs to provide TWO field marshals for their match. They can change out at the half if they wish.  Just need two field marshals on the field at all times.  We need one for the away side of the pitch and one for the home side.  These people need to be parents, not teenagers or children.

This field has a small perimeter fence around it that is three foot high.  On the north side of the field, to the left as you walk up to it, are some bleachers which seats about 75 people. On either side of the bleachers is a small gate that will be unlocked.  These two gates are the ONLY way allowed onto the field.  No one is to hop the fence.  There should be carpet at both entrances and both team areas.  Walk onto the field only via the carpet runners.  Have the Field Marshal here when teams are changing.  Setup on the carpet that is provided on each side of the field.  Keep all equipment ON THE CARPET.  The only persons allowed on the track are the Field Marshals and the occasional player who must pick up an errant soccer ball.  NO ONE is allowed onto the track except on the runner or to get the occasional stray soccer ball.

Warmups - there is no room for warmups while a match is going on. We can only be on the turf itself, not down at the ends that are considered part of the track.  The area around the outside of the field is too new to use for warmups and the upper field is under construction and no one is allowed up there.  There is not a lot of time between matches and all matches MUST start on time.

Keep upcoming teams completely off the field until the previous match is complete.  No waiting on the runners that cross the track for previous match to finish.  There is just too much of a chance of messing with the track.

U-11 Field Set Up Procedure

1.  Reset the Goals:  Slide the goals into position, be careful not to dig into the turf when you reposition the goals.  They are not that heavy, with six adults you can easily pick them up.   Max length for U11 is suppose to be 80 yards long.  CSC suggests that the field is made just a little bit longer to take advantage of existing marking.  Set the goals on the FIVE YARD LINE of each end of the field.

2.  Goal Area -  Along the five yard line, walk out from each post SIX yards, place a wazi at this point.  It should line up but be further into the field than the existing yellow goal area. Now walk perpendicular to the five yard line onto the field and place a wazi on the 10 yard line and then the exisiting yellow line that runs across the field.  Do this on both sides of each goal.

3.  Penalty Area - Walk out along the five yard line to the existing yellow line that runs perpendicular to the five yard line and place a wazi where they both intersect.  Place cones along this line up to the 20 yard line.  Do this on both sides for each goal.

From the center of the goal, your Penalty area will be 15 yards deep by about 22 yards wide.  Your Goal Area will be 10 yards wide by 8 yards deep.  The dimensions are not perfect but are close and will be fine for your match.
